Mmmmm...

The only thing (so far ;)) that can make me go Mmmmm is food... And to think I dished out some absolutely lovely food makes me so proud of myself.

1. Mushroom and Baby Corn Saute: Huge chunks of Mushroom and Baby Corn stir fried in Soy Sauce, with tons of garlic. This goes best with A and Dee (u guys will luuuurrrve it)

Tip: Never wash the mushrooms, just wipe them clean. It stops the mushrooms from getting soggy.

2. Shrikhand: Sweetened hung curd with saffron and chopped nuts. I made some for breakfast. Couldn't wait till lunch time, so had some mpre as a pre lunch snack, with Pooris for lunch, later as a mid-afternoon dip... I still lick some off the bowl each time I go into the kitchen.

3. Coconut Chutney: I'm a specialist at this. And to think, the Mixie does all the work. But yeah, the "tadka" will make/mar the dish. I for one, love the Urad Dal absolutely crisp. So simply "taalchikottify" right before you serve the Chutney.

All this food talk has got me hungry. Will raid the kitchen for more food. Am in the mood for something sweet.

Oh there's some Carrot Halwa. Or should I just dive into Milk Maid? or better still, I think I'll have them both together.
