My favourites...

Anyone who knows me wouldn't be surprised that I'm writing about chocolates. In fact, they would be wondering why I hadn't written on this earlier.

What I'm going to do now is list down my favourite chocolates... in NO particular order mind you.

  • After Eights - the thin slices of mint covered in chocolate... the perfect after dinner chocolate.
  • Snickers - with gooey caramel and roasted peanuts... could be snacked on, no matter what time of the day.
  • Bounty - with the soft coconut filling... if had chilled, then OH MY GOD!!!
  • Hershey's/Lindt bars - the dark chocolate bars especially... to die for.
  • Toblerone - great fun to collect the letters T.O.B.L.E.R.O.N.E in each pyramid... simply love the dark chocolate variety.
  • Ferrero Rochers - with layers of wafer, chocolate and nutty filling... the supreme all-in-one chocolate... I used to even save the brown paper cups these came in.
  • Cadbury's Dairy Milk - the oh so comforting chocolate bar... especially for those "awww" moments
  • Cadbury's Fruit N Nut - Can't imagine my hostel room desk without one of these ever in the last one and half years... no matter what kind of mood you are in, this is an absolute Must-have.

Well, these were just my favourites. I just luuurrrrve COCOA (that's not just my dog I'm talking about). There are the Perks, the M&Ms the Temptations, the Mars/5-Stars etc. But I like them only because they are chocolates as well.

While I am still talking about chocolates, warm Hershey's syrup on ice creams, coffee, pastries could send me straight to heaven as well. My current fantasy...sssslllllluuuurrrrrrpppppppp... warm syrup on Abhishek Bachchan. My friends should note... no Yana Gupta there.

Now you know for sure that I'm an absolute chocoholic. But don't you stereotype me as this "Here's another Chocolate lover". My friends and family will vouch for the fact that I have the world's biggest sweet tooth. However, when it comes to food, give me bland food, and I might throw up. This doesn't count for corn/veggies baked in white sauce. But my Sambhar and Rasam had better be spicy. This holds good for the Paneer Butter Masalas and the Kadhai Vegetables as well.

Talking about spicy food, here's a spice that I could live on... CINNAMON. This simple bark with so much flavour. Some day I'd like to get the attributes of cinnamon. Sweet yes, but with the strong fiery spirit too. My chewing gum is not Juicy Fruit or Spearmint, but is BIG RED, from the Wrigley's staple. If I have cold coffee at CCD, it will be Cinnamon flavoured. Though I have Tic Tacs in every shade of green and orange, my favourite is the red cinnamon flavoured one. Those who love this spice will love the cinnamon flavoured Altoids. It will burn your tongue, but once you like it, trust me, you'll never want to have the regular Polos or Mentos.

Well, I have to go now. I will keep you posted on my other favourites. But at least now you know what you could get me on my birthday.
