The Hunt...

Yes, it's official... I'm handing over the responsibility of MY getting hitched to my friends. They can go through the trauma of finding me Mr. Right.

Here goes...

Dee - hunt your cousin down. You need to ensure that the B'lore meet DOES happen.
Smee - Hunt your good looking cousin down. U.K. is just too ideal to give up. Batchmates from computer/AOL classes would do just fine as well.
A'loo - Stick to the GSB's will ya. Just leave my clan alone.
Harsh - A NATty guy would be nice you know...

I know that at the end of the day, my Mr. Right would be this Tam Bram guy... the types you'd want to take home to Amma. The Engg grad (pref. the IITian), the MBA (pref. an IIM alumnus), slightly shy, loyal to old friends, thoughtful, focussed, witty, is good at atleast one sport, shows keen interest in classical art forms... Ofcourse, along with the "He must be"s, is a list of "He must NOT be"s as well - Spineless, liar, condescending, pretentious...

Normally I do like a hint of pride in men. But they'd better know their stuff well before getting too cocky about it.

You see, if my friends don't help me, my aunt in Seattle will do her job. She's already compiling a database of the unmarried Tam Bram techies working at Microsoft.

Its funny how I exactly know the kind of guy I want, although I haven't been able to find one on my own.

You know what's funnier? The guys I've had crushes on so far come no where close to the criteria above. Actually come to think of it, two guys came very close, but I was too scared to let them know how I felt. Don't have the heart nor guts to ruin friendships over silly crushes.

Never mind... the dreamer in me wishes to live on.
